SD Live is published by Encinitas Digital, a boutique studio in Encinitas that builds websites and AI tools for San Diego County businesses. The intended public address is livemusic.fyi — the domain is owned; DNS is empty until this site is pointed there.
For venues
This first version is a public directory with no login. If your room belongs here, you can later claim the page or have Encinitas Digital build and host a site for $50 a month.
A claimed page is the place for current hours, tonight’s musician, and a clean public URL. Until then we only publish facts we can point to on a public page.
For musicians
SoundBooks is the business command center for working musicians — gigs, invoices, follow-up, and the year-end trail in one place.

What we will not invent
Seed listings come from official sites and clearly public pages. If a happy-hour clock or set time was not posted, it is left off. Sources sit on every venue page.
The stack
Static Astro, Netlify-friendly, no auth and no backend in v1. Venue records live in
src/data/venues.json. Agents and crawlers can read the same facts at
/venues.json. Add a room there, rebuild, and it
appears.
